I was just wondering, has anyone driven the 03 Type S 6 Spd Trans?? Would it be a lot different from the 6 spd and from the 5 spd??

So have I. About 60 miles or so, so far

 

It a totally different feeling car. Feels 500lbs lighter and a lot more fun than the auto.

Hello, I drove the 6 speed last week and noticed a very strange idle. I asked the salesperson if he noticed it as we sat in the car when we returned to the dealership. He said he noticed it also. I hope it was just that car. I could tell the car has been abused because it had over 100 miles and only been on the lot for about two days. Right as we were leaving the sales guy floored it. I was strongly thinking about getting this car, but the idle issue was very rough and noticeable. So I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this? I have been in and owned many honda/acura automibles and have never noticed this really rough idle, 6speed owners input would be appreciated.

 

I've test driven three of them and not noticed anything about the idle.

 

That's not normal. My cl purrrrrrrrs at idle.

 

I did not think it was normal either. I took out a cl-s auto about a year ago and it was quiet as hell. Oh well, I guess I will go back and take out another one when they get them in. I must say that car was awesome and very fast. Much quicker than my RSX. Although I don't see why acura makes a body kit for the RSX and TL, but not the CL. It does not make any sense. The sales guy told me they planned on making one, but backed out at the last minute.
