Hail damage

Well, we had quite a nice hailstorm here this afternoon. It woke me up from my nap. Nickel and pea sized pieces. And as you can imagine it has done damage to my car. So does anyone know how I go about taking care of this? I have comprehensive insurance so I think it's covered under that. Am I better off taking it to an Acura Body Shop or an independent place? I will post if I can get my hands on a digicam

Also, there is a scrap on my bumper..... if they have to repaint the top where the hail damage is, will they also paint the scrap on the side?

Thanks guys

A good independent body shop can easily fix all the problems and your car will look like nothing ever happened.

There are paintless dent repair companies who can remove hail damage dents without you having to repaint your car.

In areas hit by hail you will see a bunch of hail repair places pop up within the next week or so. A lot of them will be travelling buisness with RV/Tent set ups. There is a LOT of money to made doing that because insurance companies will be processing MASS claims and writing BIG checks to cover the damage. The nice thing about hail damage is that it is covered as a "natural disaster" so it does not reflect negatively on you at all!
