this might be some hope, but i just read this...
"Two men, aged 24 and 30, were thrown from the front seat and were pronounced dead at the scene, Tufenkjian said. She said a 38-year-old man found in the back seat was dead on arrival at West Suburban Hospital in Oak Park. "
So it might not be him. Cuz hes not 24

Spiro was also 21, story says front seat driver and passengers were 24 and 30. (Doesn't say which is which)
Also, a grey dual sub box is quite common.....
I emailed him and told him to come here ASAP so let's hope he does. So far, the details are leaning away from it being him.

Here's the only pic that shows a part of the exhaust.... I can't tell what kind it is. It only shows the resonator. Can't see the mufflers at all. Did he remove the resonator?
(at least the age doesn't match up!)

That muffler looks stock. Would you Chicago people be able to find a higher res pic? Maybe it'll be in another newspaper.

More info NBC 5: (112 MPH! HOLY SHIT!)
Three people were killed and another critically injured in an auto accident in the westbound lanes of the Eisenhower Expressway near Austin Boulevard early Monday.
Police say two cars were driving at about 112 MPH, when one car lost control, going airborne and hitting a tree.
Two ambulances were initially sent to the scene at 2:15 a.m., a fire dispatcher said. Three additional ambulances were sent under an Emergency Medical Services Plan 1, called shortly after the initial call.
Two men were pronounced dead at Loretto Hospital, according to a hospital nursing supervisor.
Another man, estimated to be in his 40s or 50s, was pronounced dead at West Suburban Hospital Medical Center in Oak Park, according to a nursing supervisor there.
The Cook County medical examiner's office received notification of the deaths, but the victims remained unidentified as of 8:20 a.m. Monday, a spokesman said.
A woman was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, where she was listed in critical condition at 7:45 a.m. Monday. A nursing supervisor said the woman appeared to be in her 20s.
A fire dispatcher said the EMS Plan 1 was secured at about 3:10 a.m. An EMS Plan 1 automatically sends five ambulances, two fire trucks, two engines, a battalion chief and an EMS field officer to the scene.
