Gum on the seat
My friends son thought it would be a good idea to put his gum on my back seat. So what is the best way to remove gum from the seat? Thanks

No idea...I have heard that penutbutter will work and I also had a friend that got some stuff from some sort of janator supply place...it was in a can and you would spray it on the gum and it would like make it hard and brittle and the gum is supposed to crumble off (might be like liquid nitrogin). I dont know how that would work on leather...I think its for carpet but you can check. Now I dont know if either of these things work it's just what I have heard.
Let me know what you find that works!

Try freezing it by sticking an ice cube on it. As the gum gets hard, you should be able to pick it off. Water doesn't hurt leather, so don't worry.
The same technique is good for getting gum out of carpet also.

Heh funny story....I heard about the penut butter thing from my friend...his dumb girl went down on him with gum in her mouth So needless to say it was all stuck in his pubes...I think the penutbutter work for that
Try the ice thing...its the same concept as that freezy stuff in a can...just might work.

that liquid freezes the gum and makes it really hard.. might not be a godo idea to use that on the leather cause that would ruin it.
have that part of your car taped off with "Police line..Do not Cross"
lol
just kiddin.
try the peanut butter thing

Like I said...these are things that I have "heard" of before...I have NEVER tried any of them....but I would guess the liquid freeze thing would not be good on the leather if that is where it is...if its on the carpet i guess it would be ok. Let us know what you find that works.

99% sure way
I've found that an oil based liquid should work perfectly. Simply use vegi-oil or olive oil and a tooth brush and lightly scrub in small circles. Oilve oil works best (it might take quite a bit of oil). It takes a little while to get every last bit out in most cases, but most of it should come out very easily. Afterwards, just treat the leather a little.

Quick update
I got the gum completly off the seat, and I used ice. I felt ice would be the least messy and do the least damage to the leather. Again thanks for all the suggestions.
