Were all so very proud of you
I don't give a fock if it's a 22-speed, how u like them apples. Don't try to make this an argument. I said I can believe a CL-S hang with and possibly beat a GS 4 if the GS driver is a dork or if he has 500lbs worth of extra crap in his car. I then stated I have never lost cause I know how to drive the fricking car.....

I have also never beat a C-5 vette all things being equal for example. Hang with at hwy speeds to an extent but never have beaten one.

There's the 1sicklex we all know and love!

I think the CLS/TLS can hang but to beat a stock GS4 we need a few mods. Its tough making up for the 70-80 tq, especially when you consider the fact that the GS is only about 300 lbs heavier.

DrRick, your gs looks hot!

them apples are pretty tart I suppose your saying the
6 speed and slush-box are the equivalent in performance times,
and the GS400 can win if the driver isn't a "dork" or
has his weight set in the trunk. So, my buddy at work must be
a "dork" who go beat by a cl twice :P

and personally i don't give a shit, but you come across as a
egotistical gs owner that needs to feel superiority on
a cl web site. How do you like them psychoanalysis apples.

psychoanalysis apples.
ooooooooh, big word. No turd boy, I don't need no "SICK" validation. Though I do not own an Acura, I know plenty of people with them as they are a popular car. What got me to this board was people had some mis-information of the GS (and Lexus cars in general) and I helped inform them.

But hey, "I am whatever you say I am"

I guess having any other car owner with a better car makes you feel inferior, or is it the girls? I don't feel inferior when guys with oh, 5 or 6 cars on ClubLexus post their stuff about Supercharged engines, or M.B. forums where some dudes got SL 55s on order and have a Ferrari as a weekend car. Nope, I try to LEARN from these dudes, as they are in a better position than me.

So CL is for CL owners only and BMW for BMW owners only etc?

Funny you ask that typeR, we took our cars to the track with some other ClubLexus buddies a few months ago. It was a RIOT!!! People with their Supras and Vettes and WRX's were looking at us like we were NUTS. Out times SUCKED, I pulled a 14.9 with my AC on (duh)! We never tracked before, some people had luggage (Coming from out of town) and the experienced racers we spoke to said the track sucked as no one was meeting their expected time. The inexperience showed!

2 runs in what 8 hours!!!!

But we had a blast going to the track and I am sure we will go back (to a much better one).

I'll let ya know when the FL boys get up!

the truth finally comes out from Junior College Educated man:
So now the gs is a better car than the cl?? to each his own.
Girls?? sorry dude been married to a WOMAN for a while..
Are you having some girl issues we should discuss, since
you brought up girls??? And the only turd is the one hanging
from you ass..The only thing you need to learn from thoose "dudes" is how they made/making their money, because i see so many people in this world that are "All Flash And No CASH"

damn i wish you hadnt asked that like sick said, we went back in feb. what was funny was that all of the stock GS's were faster than the modded ones. i ran a 15.1 with NO traction. my trap was 98 or 99 though. 60' ft times sucked as well. first time at a drag strip and it was incredible. i did beat a modded 78 camaro with a 355. but got dusted by a LX 5.0 driven by a girl. not to make excuses, but no one ran worth a crap that day. single turbo supras were only in the mid 13's so that should tell you something. i plan on heading back to a better track (reynolds) that is south of atlanta and see what happens. btw, there was a guy there with a red legend (i think it was a 6 sp) although i dint get to chat with him. oh and thanx for the compliment ferizzo. i get my rod millen grill installed in the morning. holla......

How is it not worth the cash?? It is thousands less than a E430 or 540i. Personally Id take the 540i b/c it is a better all around performance car if I was in the market for that kind of vehicle.

To each his own. I bought the GS 4 cause I:

1. Loved the looks
2. Previous ownership experience
3. Performance
4. Space
5. My "reasonable" dream car..

BMW, and other car companies have not really gave me an arguement to leave, I am happy owning it..

Can't wait for this though!

Though if THIS was sold here, I would have had a very, VERY tough choice to make. I could car less if it is an Infiniti or Nissan, JUST BRING IT!!!

I can believe the CLS and GS4 were neck to neck, but only off the line. It boils down to the launch. With a good launch, the CLS pontentially would beat an M3 with a bad launch.

I always told NovaWhiteTypeS that his modded CL would do really well against my modded 540 off the line. CLs strong point against both V8's are off the line, but moving start the V8's have a bit too much for the CLS.

Thoro, nice race! Maybe we'll meet at the next CLS meet!

SMG is a squential manual gearbox. It is bsically a manual tranny without a clutch. You can either let the computer do the shifting for you(auto) or shift yourself via the paddles on the steering wheel. BMW's SMG offers a couple different modes that change the speed/firmness of the shifts.

Nah, dubs are not for me. Actually, the car was at the dealer Friday to get shocks/springs installed but they would not have finished my car in time for the meet....

How's the 540? Still keeping it?

AC, awesome dude! I wish we had a Lex tuner to sell chips for the computer. I think engine management is key than intakes and suck with these advanced computers.

Fact: the New 7 series has enough brain power= to a pentium I processor!
