Group buy Tein SS?

I am very interested in purchasing the Tein SS. Are there many on the board that do not have them yet, but wish to?

For those with them what was the price that you paid, with shipping?

Any owners with the EDFC?

The EDFC won't fit in the CL. At least it won't fit in the front I believe (I always forget where the clearance is missing, but I'm pretty sure its under the hood).

Tein is working on a coilover the SS-P which includes new pillowmounts and will have an EDFC application for the CL, but it'll be more expensive than the Tein SS and is still currently under development.

I have the SS coilovers and the EDFC on my TL-S and I love 'em!

You can trade the springs in to get ones with a higher spring rate to account for the weight. I forget how much it costs, but Tein will do it ...

However, I'm running on the springs that come with the Tein SS, and I don't have any problems.

It looks like this was attempted before without success so please disregard the gb question. Still want to know what the best price is for them.

I ordered mine for $875 ($850 plus 3% PayPal fee) from tyfuun@hotmail.com. He frequents the A C U R * W O R L D.com forums (combine the letters back together and change the * to an A if you can't figure it out) .. Email him if you're interested in the Teins. I think I paid $330 (plus 3% paypal fee) for the EDFC from him.

The teins are now selling from Arnold (tyfuun@hotmail.com) at a cheaper price now. I also have upgraded front springs if anyone is interested. They are 9kgf as compared to the stock 7kgf. Edfc won't work on the CL, it doesn't clear the front hood, but fits in the rear just fine.

Go with the TEINs. You won't regret it and buy it from Arnold. He's got a good reputation and comes through quick.

Cuz I no longer have Teins. Reason I no longer have Teins is beause I wanted something way stiffer and way lower, NEX.

The upgraded springs weren't that much harsher riding than the stock Tein springs, but you could feel they were stiffer. They definitely make up for the weight issue because it stopped my bottoming out issues. I wouldn't recommend getting upgraded springs unless you: 1) want a stiffer suspension, 2) want to go low. Of course there are people on here with Teins who have no issues with bottoming out with the stock springs, so it's best to try it first and see how it goes.

I upgraded the front springs only, the back doesn't really need them. I will sell them for $100 plus shipping for both if anyone is interested. I paid like $180 shipped I believe.
