It's a quality product at a decent price...like 1/2 what we were paying.

Not to mention it's powder-coated & cut to fit.

What is the big hurry?... is your car going to EXPLODE without a grille or something....

From my understanding they had some INTERNAL problems over the Holidays..(EX: November & December)....

BOTTOM LINE:
Atleast it is coming along and getting done right the first time.

Tough guy, we didn't have a whole lotta info when this thing got going & still don't.

So, like Smitty said, go read the post. Your answer may be there...may not.

Here you go :

GRILLE-TECH GRILLS *TM..... get them here!!!
Well directly from the MAIN man's mouth...

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey Smitty

Our retail prices would be something to this effect: Lower bumper grille would be $59.99 with the upper
grille costing $39.99 and the side grilles being $34.99. We will offer a group buy on acura-cl.com for
$99.99 shipped for the complete set. This is quite a bit less then the other guy. Now I'm not faulting
him for what he's doing if people are willing to pay that much and it's all that's available. The one problem
I see is when he cuts our grilles the cut edge is then bare metal and prone to rust. When we make them
they are cut and then powder coated so the edges are coated along with the rest of the grille. You hook
us up with a CL like the one he's selling the grilles for and everyone will be happy. We don't need a TL
because we already have a guy set up to come here next Saturday. Let me know what you think. Also we have
Our grilles cut out about every 4-6 weeks in very large quantities so it may be some time after we make
the templates to when we actually have them up for sale. Let me know what you think.

Thank You
Chris J. Driver

NEVER ending MADNESS!!!!!!!!!!!

Damn, this is taking FOREVER...

But here is the UPDATE as of 4/30/2004

CJ

The TL-S is completed and we are just waiting on our most recent order to come through so we can begin selling them. We made the templates and fit the TL-S grilles. The CL still needs some adjustments. We made the prototypes and they didn't fit quite right. We didn't make the templates for the CL. When we have to rely on others to make the templates fit the prototypes and send us the adjustments it takes more time. I don't think I will pursue having others make grille templates in the future. It has been a nightmare working on this project not to mention the time and money lost so far and we still don't have a finished product. From now on all prototypes will be made in house. We really want the TSX but only if we can gain access to one.

Hopefully after making the adjustments to the upper grille and having another set of prototypes made and shipping them off and waiting to have them fit we will finally be able to get the CL grilles to market.

Thank You

www.grille-tech.com

So good news for you TL guys!!!.. they are on the way..

and the TSX guys better contact me so we can get them hooked up with Grille TECH grilles too... just need someone local to them.
Maybe I should post this over in the TSX forum after we get these CL grilles complete.

The only real problems with fit had more to do with the material itself than the template.

Upper fit OK with a tad bit of trimming, the lower is fine by me the way it was. I've reported my thoughts back to Chris at Grille Tech.

Grille-Tech has my white outer grille trim as of 4/12. The upper piece should fit perfectly when he's done. Lower piece has been on my car for months now with no problems. Side pieces I can't vouch for since I have the roadlamps in, but Grey said the size was perfect. Only issue with them I think is finding a way to fasten them without putting a screw hole in the housing (if you're worried about that).

All I'll need is the upper piece, so assuming they got the TL-S correct I'm all over that
