Give it awhile to break in. It gets louder with age.

i had the evo IIs, some break in is required but the sound is nice, not too loud but agressive esp when on it, but the more mods the better

Yes they do. After a few heat cycles the baffles change the tone of the exhaust. Older exhausts tend to be louder.

I asked my past experiences with exhaust systems and he said you're wrong, exhaust setups do get louder as they warm up / age.

Sounds sweet! I love the diameter of the tips but the cans are just too big, if there was a happy/medium where you could tuck the canisters in and just have the tips be big then I would be ALLLL over these lol.

But OP nice pickup! Definitely a quality exhaust

Hmm..... my 3.0 with intake sounds louder and deeper than that... Hopefully it's just the combination of the crappy sound and hasn't fully breaked in yet. Tips are wayyy too massive for my liking.

I wonder how it would look with the cans painted black and the tips left alone....

Hmm...glossy or matte black?

Might look dumb since the muffler and tip is one piece.

It worked on the CLS mufflers because there were kind of two piece...clearly separated.

Haha, Evo2 looks pretty sexy in dual-exhaust form - I have the same exhaust on my '07 SI, love it.
