Last week i posted a bulliten about my car going into the dealer for the trans defect, i got a call from them sayin that the motor mounts are bad and i need new ones and its gonna cost 500.00 i said forget it i will do it myself and save some money. Got another call ten minutes later and the guy said "Sir while taking off the possitive battery cable, it snapped due to corosion and it will cost 275.00. I said its kewl the dealership is gonna cover that since it was fine befor i brought it in and your mechanic broke it, they said actually no since it was coroded and was gonna break anyways we will not be covering it. WTF ! :angryfire I freaked out and got in a fight with the service manager and the General manager and was finally told that they weren't doing the service on my vehicle and to pick it up if i want with a tow truck. i lost it and called ACURA direct and filed to complaint cases. Then today i recieved a call sayin my car was done and to come get it, asked how could it be done without a battery cable they said we put a temperary cable end on it till you can get it fixed. Wanna know what a temperary cable end was ?? A HOSE CLAMP !!!! Fuck Rizza Acura !!! thats my story wat ya think...

You think that one is a bad experiance. I picked Cl Type S up back in april of 07, I got a good deal on it because the Tranny had some issues. I took it to Superior Acura in Fairfield Ohio where they fixed the trans. under warranty (which was cool). While it was there I called them and told them to replace the rear main because i saw an oil leak. They told me that the seal was fine and the leak was coming from the pan. So I re-did the pan and still had a leak. Took it back to Acura and this time they told me it was the rear main and it was going to be 950.00 to fix. I started getting mad and the service made the comment that "well its been 4000 miles" and I had pay full price. At that mommet I told them that i don't want them to touch my car ever again. By the way they also broke the Hydrolic line on my engine mount, punctured the inside boot on one of my axels, and broke the tranny ground wire. They took no responsibility for any of it

Temporary cable? Man, you won the jackpot. Take the car. One of these days the temporary cable will get overloaded and exploded. That's the time you get to sue the dealer for millions of $$.

wow.thats like my dealer in alhambra CA. i brought in the car to get the radio code. and the service manager came and looked at my head unit. he told me "you could leave it here for us to take the head unit out so we could get the serial number from the back in order to get the code from our computers." i asked him if there was an easier way. then he was a dick about it and said, you could do it yourself and run into problems, or you could let us do it. i asked him how much and he asked me for aprox. 100 bucks. i was like.. WTF? 100 bucks to get my fucking radio to work? then i just left. then i found out that you could hold 1 and 6 to get that code. i came back and the same guy helped me. i gave him the code i got and he went inside to his computer telling me it was the wrong number.. WTF? he then asked again to pay 100 bucks for acura to do it for me. i was like screw you! and went in an additional day to run into another person. this time another man helped me. i just said i needed my radio code. he was like.. alright, went out.. and did the 1+6 combination FOR ME! then went inside. inputed the number and shook my hand. stealerships i'm tellin' you.

If you're talking about Rizza Acura in Orland Park, stay VERY far away from them.

I would call the Acura customer care again and tell them that they would not take care of something they broke. They will usually take care of the problem for you.
