Blinking Check Engine Light on hard driving
My check engine light lit up and started blinking during some aggressive driving. It went away after about 30 seconds. If this happens again, I ll hook the laptop up and record the EDC. Btw, there is no way to read out a code if its currently not ON, correct?
Anyway, just wanted to find out what people though the issue might be.

i had the same problem, only that it would only blink when i would be driving it aggressively and as soon as i would drive normally it would go away. i think it use to blink like 5 times. its happened to me like 2 times but i figured it was nothing cuz it never came back.
LOL, maybe its a NBP thing

the blinking is a missfire. If the light doesnt stay on there wont be any code to read. Its kinda normal on these cars. I see it most when i loose traction and get wheel hop

It happens sometimes because the car looses traction, & the ECU think it's misfiring & throws a code for a sec. I can do it at will on any CL/TL. Nothing of a concern.

It happened to me a few times in the rain.
If you connect a reader, it might still have the code. It did for me when I tried reading it right after it threw it and I got home.

Thanks guys.
It used to never happen until I got the NGR engine dampers. Its somewhat tougher to peel out, the car jerks a lot more when it looses grip since the engine cant twist.
