Got pulled over for doing 90mph

was driving on the 5 to San Francisco. beamed down the road, and i see headlights suddenly turn on in the median and come straight for me. stops me, i give him my license/registration, was shitting bricks when he came back to me and says, "i'm gonna cut you a break..... just know that there's also Camaro units dispatched as well, be careful and slow down."

i just had to mention that...

Wow you did get lucky, usually if you are going that fast, you are guarenteed a ticket. I got pulled over on the New Jersey turnpike coming home from a Nets game like 5 years ago. Blew right past the cops cuz i couldn't see out that good with the 15% tint on the VW. Anyway he came up to the car real slow cuz he couldn't see in, once he got up there he seemed relieved, just gave me a warning, and told me to go stick it down some girls shirt. He was a cool statey.

I got a 90 in a 65 in PA once... not too bad for being out of state.

Since then I learned to slow down and use common sense.

Your lucky dude... cop must have been in a very good mood. If you were doing >=100 CA says it's a manditory arrest and car impound. I've seen those white land sharks too; more often than I like.

I believe that calls for a revocation, doesn't it? In MA, 3 moving violations in one year=loss of license for 30 days.

Saw on the news in philly last night, some guy was drag racing someone on a city street with his wife and kid in the car. they pulled him over and you would think he robbed a bank. They made him get out, back up, and lay on the street. When you saw the guy you could tell he probably never did anything wrong, looked like the kind of guy that too scared of his wife to ever talk out of turn.

im suppose to get it taken away but i tlaked to the cop when he issued the ticket and he said plead not guilty and hell drop it to a no turn on red. he didnt want me to loose my license and just thouigh i was crazy bc i knew i would lose it if i got another speeding ticket. I also gave him a soob story of how my life was going down the tubes and it worked

I got let go doing like 125!!! The cop read me the riot act, didn't even check my license, etc. (I got caught at 108 once, and the ticket was like $200, and 5 or 6 points, but at least I drove away.) Anyway, I'm retired from triple digits on the streets, I've come close (real close) but haven't gone over 100 since the last time. I don't want to push my luck or anything.

I've been pulled over for speeding about 5-6 times but only haave three on my record. I always get caught doing the minor shit...never at 100 or 120 (fastest I've gone) but doing 45 in a 30 (that really should be 40) or 64 in a 55 (when I had been doing 75 earlier - pre TLS). But I am paying for it now in insurance as MA don't fuckin' play!

CHP use radar on 5, so if you do not have a detector, get one! I was clocked doing 94 on 5 South on a warm summer day about an hour south of 152, but the offficer gave me a lecture from the passenger side of the car instead of a ticket. There was a VERY attractive women in the car with me at the time, so after sufficient ogling and lecturing the officer me go. I picked up a cheap detector in San Diego, and have been running with it ever since. Chaptorial, for the record, neither I or my passenger at the time are white.

I got pulled over doing about 95 a few weeks back. It was about 1:00 am. Cop let me go with a warning. Couldn't believe it. I sent him some radio station swag to thank him.
