Got my Sway Bars installed...

... and I almost hit the curb on the first right turn! I wasn't expecting the steering through a corner to be so smooth and tight. I can't explain the feeling in technical terms or any other terms for that matter, but I am extremely happy with my purchase. I paid $295 for the Comptech sway bars and $70 for installation at South County AutoSport in Mission Viejo, CA. This is a first impression because I've only had the bars in for a couple hours so far. Oh... and I haven't noticed any difference in ride quality from stock. No rough ride or anything.

I also purchased some Hyper white high beams that still have yet to go in.

And my tint job is finally done with the painting of the "dot matrix" on the rear window.

Guess it's time to change the sig again.

I know what you mean. On my drive home after getting the sways installed, I took a 90 degree leftturn to go over the overpass after getting off the freeway. I'd taken it many times before getting the sways. This time I took it 10 MPH faster and the stock tires were howling in protest. I had so much more momentum going around the turn this time. My heavy backpack with my laptop in it resting behind the driver's seat rolled 360 degrees over the hump in the floor and landed behind the passenger's seat.

Without the sways, you never push the limits of the stock tires in turns without massive roll. With the sways, the limits of the stock tires are more apparent.

I, too recently installed the sways and found the same two things ... shit flys all over the car (and in the trunk) and the tires do tend to "protest" ... I think the sways are a must for the CL-S.

Yes I did, ye of the greatest local CL p1mp@ge!

It looks great...just the usual tiny bubbles around the rear outer window where the dots are. The 20% on the rear and rear sides was just right, and with the 5% on the moonroof I can actually use the damn thing all the time without frying my receding hairline fo-head! 70% on the front sides is nice from the outside but doesn't do much from the inside. I opted not to get the blackout strip for the front windshield.

once you get sways, you know what the term body roll stands for.

Try this, jerk the steering wheel left to right real quick and you'll see that the car is very stable and it doesn't 'rock'.

Also you can feel the back being planted and all 4 tires contacting the ground

congrats on the sways Sid.

If you are in the market for Comptech Springs, let me know by email or cell..I got them new from Sierra Acura at cost, factory sealed.

It's been hard for me to make this decision.
So i've changed my mind and want to keep the P as stock for a couple more years.

Assuming you're talking about the sway bars, I would recommend Comptech primarily because that's what I bought and I don't think you will make a mistake with them. As for installing them, I installed mine with the help from my 15 yr old son. I have worked on cars in the past and this was not a difficult job. The key is having the right tools (12mm and 14mm wrenches and a hex key set) AND the ability to get the car high enough to work under it comfortably. I used a floor jack and two jack stands and did the rears first then the fronts.

Downside? Now I realize the limits of the stock tires.

I bought mine from Badazz (a member of this board who sold his CL). That's why I paid $295 shipped.
