Made the order a few weeks ago and got it today. Nate kept me very informed and up to date on my order, he even shipped it for free for the 2 week wait. He also gave me a really good deal on a used B pipe upgrade. They wont be making those anymore, so he sold me the one they had on there Blue CLS for 175.00 i recieved tracking info for that and will be getting it tomorrow. Nate was very very helpful with me. Just spreading the word on my great experience and customer service i had with him. This is also notice to everyone they are shipping parts now!

let me know what you get out of the B pipe when u install it

 

If your NA you will probably get < 1hp gain

 

From what I've read, you only get a change in exhaust note, but not much power gains, unless you're FI.

 

yea exhaust is for looks and sound on our cars...sucks

 

When combined with intake headers & the mufflers you will see about a 5HP gain, from it.
I never got 1 cause of the price, & the fact it adds noise to the exhaust system.

 

I got my b pipe today. I think it sounds great. Its just a little bit deeper sounding than with the stock b pipe on there. Felt a little boost in HP but mainly got it for sound and better looks and durability of stainless, plus i got a smokin deal on it.

Some have experienced a droning with the B-pipe. It definitely makes the system breathe better with FI. In addition to the performance, I like the looks of it under the car

 

It does have slightly more drone to it, but hardly at all. Plus if your picky about that, the quite tip inserts im sure would take care of most of it. But good luck finding one now too, Comptech isnt making the B pipe upgrades anymore. Mine is the one they had on there prototype CLS 6. So if you want one, its most likely going to have to be a used one from someone.

I dont know why they are parting out that car, someone would have bought as is with everything on it. I loved that car, matter of fact I have a video of it that im going to watch now and might upload it for you all...lol

don't forget to put the battery tie down back before taking it out for a drive, and dang your engine bay is clean

 

For some reason the tie down would not fit back on. The icebox got in the way...I think maybe i need to move my battery over a little bit, because the icebox is exactly where its supposed to be. Any suggestions? And thanks for the compliments!

 

They took off all the parts and had to give it back to Acura. Acura Crushed the car! They just had to give back there ridgeline about a week ago and that got crushed as well

 

Not quite. It goes from the cat but it goes directly to the mufflers. There is no other "Y pipe".

last year I ordered some spare clamps and other parts.

the clamps you could probably get cheaper elsewhere though IMHO.

 

do any of you guys happen to know if a TL-S auto comptech icebox will fit a CL-S auto?
