Good Trade in Choices

I'll be trading my 1994 Camaro Z28 in really Soon, it has a dent in the rear that I'm not gonna be removing. My Camaro only has 85k miles. What would be a good trade in? I dont want super high Monthly payments.

Wait, so what is your question exactly? If you are looking for trade in values, try the Kelley Blue Book

not trade in Values. I want to know what would be a good car to trade my car in for. I wanted a CLS but the Dealer told me that he wanted 5k down and my car then I would be looking at about 800 a month

Does it have to be new? Or is used OK?

800 a month! That sounds pretty steep...How long is that for 3 years? I ended up with a little over 5K for my trade-in and put another 3.5K down on a CL-P. My payments are $390/month for 5 years. The 800 sounds pretty steep...why not try another dealer and/or get some quotes on the internet...autobytel, etc. and either buy from them if the deal is good or use those prices to negotiate a better price/payment schedule with your local dealer...Good Luck!

BlackFonz:

I was in San Mateo 6 months ago and went to an Acura dealer for a test drive on a CL-S non-nav. Spoke with a young (28ish) salesman and I think he was Phillipino.

Cannot remember the dealer's name but it is near San Mateo. Was offered the car at $27,800 then as they were having a special sale that weekend.

ya 800 a month sounds bad. I just sign the papers this past sat. for mine, I put $10k down and my monthly payment is 340 a month for 5 yrs. Well then again, we bought 2 at the same time. So maybe my price is a little lower. but the guy said even if u put $5k down the monthly would only be $480 a month, for CL-P
