Hey guys,

I will be going to the track tonight. This time i will be taking out the spare tire, emptyin everything out of my car. I am running right now with 1/4 tank left which should be good. I will post times later on tonight after 10 pm eastern time.

Any tips or suggestion will be appreciated.

Start at D1 and up shift at 6900 RPMs or so. You should not ever have to shift into 3rd.

Webtoker,

You were able to run the 1/4 mile with 1->2 only? Wow. I had to upshift to D3 and approaching redline at the end of the 1/4 mile. What's your secret? Is that possible?

2nd Gear is good for 68-73 MPH only. 3rd up to 107-110 MPH.

1/4 mile trap speed is 90-97 MPH, so you need to shift to 3rd.

Nashua,

My thoughts exactly. I didn't think you could cover the 1/4 mile with only a 1->2 shift.
