UPDATE:
well i ran 3 times and my best time was 14.996 @ 94 mph
its ok i have plenty of excuses
1.drove about 70 miles from austin and didnt let the car cool down
2. had about 70-80 pounds of stuff in the trunk (clothes laptop books)
3. half a tank of gas
4. stock tires
SilverBullet and his rental (2k2 max auto) did pretty good for a stock car
i think its safe to say that the maximas would kill us from 0-60 but we own them from 0-100
the 2nd race between me and silverbullet was pretty good. he got a good car length jump on me but i crept and crept and pulled. he won the race but my times were better in the 1/4 mile
i am some what satisfied and somewhat dissapointed. the first time i ran at the track my best was 15.2 tonight was 14.9 so i guess all the mods did improve my times. The next time i go i will have sticky tires and an empty trunk with less than a quarter tank of gas

when i ran a 15.2 stock everyone kept bashing me and saying i should have ran a 14.9

Maximas are not all that guys. I was very disappointed in seeing this 255hp Max only running 15.0 for the best I could pull. 90 mph was the highest trap speed as well. I had a friend drive it later that night after it cooled down, he decided to leave it in drive, but he got a 2.2 60 ft, but only 15.2 at 88 mph.
The car feels faster than the CL-S, but it really isn't. Sidemarkers car was pulling quick. His 95 trap to my 90 trap.
I can't wait to get my car back!

all_motor,
How about my times, any advise:
----
As you know tonight I was at the New England Drag Way..
The Weather: Partially cloudy. Temp 47-37, Humidity: 75-89% B.P 30.13
My CLS: Injen CAI, NGK Iridium Plugs, OBX Headers, UR Ultra SS Kit, and 18" 235/40/18 555 Nittos (Near Bald, greasey, and feel like burned platstic!!!), Wheel wheight 23 Lbs. No Spare Tire, No Jack. 3/4 Tank of Gas
I could not improve my personal record of 14.613 @ 95.81 MPH
I learned a lesson, a Lot of Torque and NO traction, you go nowhere, time to save for stickier tires for next summer
I had 4 runs for the whole night. I started at Front PSI of 38, then 32, 29.5 and finally 28.. Rear were at 37.5 PSI. All runs were 1-2-D4... and I missed 1-2 few times (hit rev-limiter) and had tons of wheel spin and wheel hops... In short, I could not have good launchs.
On the other hand, I had fun, ... On the second, I beated an old V8 domestic car (14.63s@92.73MPH) by hole shot of 0.1523s....In addtion, on my third run I beated a Prelude SH (15.58s@89.42MPH) by 1.2532s... but I red-lighted
Due to very bad traction, my times are so so... so here we go:

Nashua.
The biggest problem you have is traction. You are losing about 2/10th's at the 60' mark and this weighs on you throughout the 1/4. Your 1/8 mph and 1/4-mile mph needs 1-2 mph extra... this can be achieved by weight loss and/or more power. Since you are an auto... try launching lower, but with a shallow stage. By this I mean edge forward after the first stage-light comes on, but stop IMMEDIATELEY after the 2nd stage-light comes on. This gives you about 6 inches of 'free' movement before tripping the light. It's kind of a rolling start in other words (for a traction-limited car). Your mph should improve somewhat.
I don't recomment deep-staging for your setup.

Now that i think about it another problem i had was the tranny
i gate shifted all my runs but for some reason the 2nd-3rd shift had a slight hesitation. thought it was a fluke but it was like that for all my runs
i didnt have this slight hesitation the last time i went to the track though??? when i mean slight i mean real real real small just enough to notice it...

Of course the Max guys are denying it..

Now they are saying I never floored it, the rental is screwed up, etc.
I give them that the car may have had 87 octane, but give me a break. lol
