Glove box area rattle

Allright.... this is it, I am going to see my dealer... it was rattling before, but now its getting out of control and rattles even on smooth highway... it makes clicking sound and rattles....
Somebody was trying to fix it on their own by putting foam tape around fuse box or something like that? Does anyone have detailed steps to fix it?

Please also let me know about your expirences fixing this problem at the dealership... do they make stupid faces and say its normal or "can't reproduce"?
If they fixed, please le me know how they fixed.

Your feedback is appreciated!

Thanks!

My big one is still the rear deck. I have got to make time to get back there and fix it.

Regarding rear-deck rattle, I had the same problem and was really frustrated. I was very pleased when my dealer fixed it for me, it did not fix the problem completly but it got 98% better... almost no rattle. Dealership took off the rear dash and installed insulator tape on the edges of the deck. Not sure about the details... go to your dealership and b*tch, they might do something for you.

I called my dealrship about 3 month ago and asked about glove box rattle, they said they have no solution.... I need to check with them again if they have a solution.

I saw the instructions about putting some foam tape on the edge of the fusebox cover(passenger side)... but I am still not clear how exactly to do it. The problem is in the fuse cover itself? Or internals of the fuse box rattle?

It got absolutly horible, I am driving on a smooth highway and it ticks and clicks periodicly, I can hear it even with my radio on.... sometimes it disapears, and with my luck it will probably disapear when I bring it to the dealer....

OK, I seem to find a solution for this problem, does not fix it 100% but seems to make it much better.

I stuck big rubber eraser betweem winshield and front dash ( passenger air bag area ). So far no rattle, only little bit on very big bumps which does not bother me that much

I took mine in this week for the rear deck rattle, they told me it had something to do with backup light housing or something and they needed a part and i'll have to bring it back. But whatever they did in the meantime eliminated the noise almost completely so i'm freakin happy as hell !!!
