Getting tinted tomorrow!
Getting tinted tomorrow!
I just wanted to get a take on this tint combo: 35% sides - 20% in the back (premium tint)
I don't want it too dark. Also, did anyone have problems with tinting the "dot matrix" - on the back window? (does it turn silver or cause bubbles?"

From what I've seen, most places do not tint over the "dots". The tint is not flexible enough to reach the glass and stick, so they cut it short of the dots areas.
Mine is 35% all around and I like it, more on the rear window would probably be OK, as long as it's legal.

Actually you don't notice it unless you look for it (of course then it is quite noticeable). The dots area is by itself darker than the rest of the window.

Tint over the dots, does not stick too well, but looks better than not tinting at all. Also, I disagree with doing 20 back and 35 sides. I say pick one % and go with that all around, it will be a good look.

The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that deep down inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers.
