Getting rid of wheel well gap?

I have been trying to decide on which springs I want for a quite a while now. I am looking for springs that will make the wheel gap look comparable to Astroboy's shown here:

But I want to keep the stock rims.

So I am thinking that the Comptech drop is not enough since it takes 18" rims to fill the wheel well like that. Would a bigger drop (lets say the eibach pro-kit) allow me to get the same look with 17" rims?

As far as tires go, I'm thinking that I'll end up with the 235/45/17 (I think this is the size that most people are getting to replace the stock rubber.)

TIA

I have the Pro-Kit and Stock wheels the drop looks the same as Astroboys. The Pro-kit is more of a drop than it has been posted. [1.7 (rear) 2.0 (front)]

Do you have any pics? It would be nice to do a side-by-side comparison.

the outside diameter of astro's tires are the same with in a mm or two of you stock rubber he just has alittle more wheel and alittle less side wall...not an issue...but he has comp springs ...the reason his rear is so low is (I THINK) he has a heavy ass system in the trunk...if you want that look minus the system then H&R sport is what your after...if you go pro kit ...it'll be close but i suspect the front will be alittle lower
