Getting rid of my CL-S

I'm going to get rid of my CL-S and get an Aegean Blue TL Type S

I'm going to simply transfer the parts I want, such as my headers, CAI, brakes and wheels to the TL-S...

hopefully I can get this done within the month

As excited I am about having another convertee I must agree with Soopa's opinion. Basically you'll shell out more money for the same car only with 4 doors and a better looking rear end...

Astro sounds like a plan. (I smell a joke here). And after you just posted pics of your car and how nice it looked.

Anyways if you really do this cannibalization can you hook me up with some of the perforations from your CL seats? :P

guys, it's like this...

I can afford the loss...My CL-S just isn't the same as it was when it was new...I've gone through my second actuator, my check engine light is on, and my tranny has acted up once...not to mention all the creaks and rattles the car has, it just sounds crappy

I've also been rear ended and had $18,000 worth of damage...that happened last December 30th...and my car doesn't line up like it once did...

I have my Porsche which has 2 doors....I am selling my VW and I have a 2002 BMW M3 that will arrive sometime in around 11 months...I don't need three 2 door cars...BUT I like the CL-S a lot...and I have always liked the TL

Now I can transfer all the best mods from my CL-S to the TL-S and have a brand new car from which to build the ultimate show car from...I want to show my CL-S all next summer but I'm going to need to do a lot of maintenance work including paint if before I could...If I get a brand new TL-S and turn it into a show car right away and avoid painting it...

Soopa, you may not like the idea, but I'm not about to move to the TL board just cuz I don't have CL anymore...this is my home, and here is where I'll stay...

Man you can take the loss...WE NEED TO BECOME BUSINESS PARTNERS ONE DAY!!!Good Reason...But why not just wait until the 6 speed? Or the ultimate show car would be a 6 speed CLS now with turbo. Use some of the money you have now ready to make these changes. And about the sqeaks and rattles...if it's a show car no one will drive it...only you and only to show cars...if your really serious about the show car thing. All this and your only 20 or whatever...I seriously hope I can be in your position when I am your age...it's amazing. But music isn't my thing...But obviously you have a love for it...GOOD LUCK IN ALL!!!
:p

If the TL-S were out when I bought my car I'd be driving one right now. I agree with your decision.

the parts are going to be at least another month...I'm going to wait until spring and put them on then...
I am not interested in getting a CL or a TL in manual...i thorougly enjoy the SS...thats one of my fav parts about the car...I'm getting SMG in my M3 and the 911 is a 6 speed already...

Honestly guys, a car isnt the same after 18k of work. You will always have problems with it. So i think astro is doing a wise move.

the only upgrade that they provide for our car is a torque convertor with a higher stall...
that is something I have already called about, just forgot to put it on the list

That's it? They're going to have to do something more for the tranny to handle the SC and any NOS.

I'm actually glad he's doing this, now he can pimp out this car and I will get to know what different mods look like without having to spend the money myself!! Works for me!!

Just make sure you're thinking clearly. After all, you did just have your head run over by a Volvo. Fvck the cars, how's your recovery?
