CL is quick for what it is but it is NOT A "KICK ASS" CAR

 

To me low-14's kick ass, I've kicked PLENTY of ass and I'll be lucky if I can get a low-14.
To others a car isn't "KICK ASS" until it runs 10's. 6M CL's kick ass.

Seriously though....I feel that if your car runs 14's, either high or low, that's pretty kick ass man. Out of the entire population, how many of us here go to the track and race and run 13's or below? Not fuckin many, so be realistic here. If you compare our car to the majority out there, stock for stock, we kick ASS!!

 

It may not "kick ass" right out of the box but after some mods, yeah i'd say it does.

 

It's all relative... in the 'real world', a 14.2s car is very quick!! Lambo's and Ferrari's in the good 'old days barely hit 13's!!

Nowadays (given MBZ AMB's torrent of high-powered cars and BMW's M's), a 12.5 and quicker is considered a 'quick' street car.

To be the true 'king of the road', you need to be able to hit 10.5's @ 125+mph in a street car IMO!

 

I like fast cars period. I dont have any brand loyalty as I went from a SHO (Ford) to a GTP (GM) to a Maxima (Import) and I'll probably be back in a GM next year with an LS2 GTO. And like I said before I came this/close to buying an 04 TL (Acura ) after driving one, what an unbelievably sweet ride!

But you're right, a car that can run in the 14's is going to be faster than 95% of whatever else is out there.
