FWD ownz joo!!!!

I had to go to the Amtrak station at this morning at 4:30 AM. Not alot of the streets had been plowed ( i don't know why) and all i gotta say is FWD rocks!! Damn i drove every where no problem. The car was great. No spinning out..no traction problems. I confidently drove everywhere at normal speeds while most cars were either busy spinning out or goin real slow. It was great. I never had a FWD drive car before. I know it's not the best for performance, but i am in the midwest baby!! This is the kind of performance i need during the winter!! That is all

North Andover, MA is just getting whacked by this crazy storm (the predict 12-16 inches of snow overnight). The car handled flawlessly on the way home in the snow. One problem, I noticed that the headlights got covered over with snow on the drive home quicker than my prior cars did. Anyone else notice this while driving in the snow? Maybe the HID lights don't throw as much heat so they don't stay "thawed out" if it is snowing hard?

I have those tires too. They really are exceptional in all areas IMO.
Glad to hear they're good in the snow .

if you have a BMW or a Lex or any rear wheel drive car, might as well leave that shit in the garage unless you have awd when it snows.

if there isn't much oncoming traffic, use the high beams to heat up the housing

My first FWD car was an 81 Prelude (I think it was an 81) and I couldn't believe how good it was in the snow.

Anyway, today we all went out in the CLS to visit family and it was just better than any FWD car I've ever driven in snow and slippery conditions. The manual tranny and LSD were a plus in keeping control at all times. We made our journey without incident except for one motorist we observed doing a 360 not too far in front of us. Luckily he struck nothing,
