Funny noise (not amused)

When i put my foot on the brake pedal and press it down to change gears there is a "click" noise from beneath the shifter. Must be the release or something for the shifter. Not amused.

Don't know what it is, but I hear a clicking noise from the shifter area when I press the brake pedal in park.

But, non of our other cars have EVER made that sound. We have had nothing but automatics.

I used to have a 91 maxima and it was ten times louder. Don't worry. When it makes a tick tick tick BANG, that is when you worry.
