Front Rotor Heat sheild and Big Brake setups
Anyone with Big Brake kit, did you keep the heat shield or toss it? I think that ermoving the sheild would help to cool the rotors down beter, I'm planning on tossing it.

It's comming off tommorrow . I did replace the screws, 6 of them. I really think that the car needs those, car didn't feel right on the 300 mi. trip back to LA without them. Then again, 100 pounds of tools in the trunck didn't help.

Smitty - He bought my 13" wilwoods, you just need to bend the heat shield so that it doesnt rub the rotor if you want it on (that's what I did).
AcuraTLSfan - I think its two bolts. We were talking about the screws that hold the rotors in place.

We are talking about the 2 screws that hold on each rotor to the hub.
you need to pull the hub if you want to remove the heat shield..I cut mine off with tin snips...there was no way i was pulling the hub to take that cheap POS heat shield off.
