The front car seats wouldnt move forward when I pull the back seat entrance handle if the engine is running. Do other CLSs do the same thing? Let me know so I can do something about it. Thanks.

From what I can tell the car has to be in park for the seats to move.

 

Yea either park or neutral.

i think it's a stupid "safety" feature...when i pick up friends or drop them off, i usually just stop and they get out...i have to put it in park though for like 5 sec. just so the seat goes forward, then shift back to drive.

wouldn't that cause a lot of wear on the tranny?

sorry, i forgot i traded my school bus...nevermind.

 

actually, neutral doesn't work either, it's only in park that the seats slide forward.

 

Another stupid thing is the doors have to be open, so if you're in the back seat and the doors are closed, the seats won't tilt up...
