What's up guys...

Any CL-S guys from the montgomery county area? I'd love to set up a friendly race or even to just check out your rides or whatever... I'm in the silver spring/burtonsville area, near new hampshire/randolph.

I really dig the CL-s and TL-s, and would like to check out how I'd actually fare against one.

I have a 5-speed IS300, naturally aspirated for the time being.

I'm in Bethesda, not too far away. I don't race much but it could be possibly if in a safe location.

 

yah that's a 10 minute drive- i'm in and out of there all the time and you'll find me at the bars down there once every couple of weeks or so. I'm from new york originally, but a lot of my old college buddies and housemates went to WJ.

Do you guys have meets in the DC area? If so, I'd like to come by and check out the rides.

I'm sure we can work something out and get a friendly run going on sometime.

I'm not sure I'm following you... you mean autoX class?

Well, my springs, intake, afc, exhaust, and sways place me out of stock, so I have to run under street prepared...... Hell, my short shifter classes me out of stock. I can understand the sways, springs, and engine mods, but a short shifter? Come on, now...


edit: found out shocks do not place me out of stock.

 

Should clarify- IS300 is D-stock SCCA, my mods push me into street prepared, a harder class.

Anyone know what class the cl is in? Is that D also? I know the RSX is D-stock as well. Do any of you guys track your cars?

 

Sorry, don't know much about SCCA classes. Are all stock (fresh from factory) vehicles rated at D-stock? If not, what are some of the classes they would fall into? Thanks!

The 6-cyl CL and base RSX are G-Stock.

The RSX-S is D-Stock, as is the IS.

haha, thanks bud. Yah, I am an is300.netter, and witnessed all the flame wars and what not. I think that a bunch of younger immature people were responsible for all the mudslinging.

I just love cars- I care what I drive, not what everyone else drives.

Anyway, seriously- I'd love to come to a DC area CL meet, just to meet some more people in the car scene.
