Free RVM crank pulley oppurtunity!!!!

ok just got off the phone with one of, if not "the guy" over at RVM about a possible misprint on there description of there lightened pulley for our cars....the pulley is smaller than stock...underdriving the accessories and looks to be identical to the UR product except for the holes....it is 1.8 lbs ,so again approx. the same weight...as some of you have read ,several members have the UR and are very happy...the power gains are there...when i had mine, my idle was smoother and quieter than before...though acouple people have expressed louder idle /low rpm noises(but nothing they seemed upset about).

now the oppertunity...im looking for one possibly 2 members ,members that go to the track and or plan on a dyno soon to receive a Free crank pulley(95$ value)...that member will have to buy the belts 30$'s and have them installed...(this is a potential DIY job)...im to also be included in this initial offering to show high end improvements ...afterwards im sure a group buy can be put together guessing in the 80$ range ...the most bang for the buck mod period at about 8-10hp top to bottom....but let's wait on that until the first few report back....also

please donot PM me or email but instead post here im going to be fair but the people ill be looking for should have been a member for atleast alittle while respected for there opinions and attitude and be a track goer ,and or ready to make a trip to the dyno...before and after install...

Sorry, it'll make my blower go slower. Now if you can give me one to make it go faster, I'm your man. Like I said, send it to Michigan, darrib will do us proud.

What's the company's website? seriously, a crank pulley is something you need to be sure is made of high quality. So this is the OBX version of headers. A company copied the UR pulley's. That's all good with me, if the quality is on the same level as UR.

I might be willing to do it. My CL-S is 100% stock - i'm waiting for my Icebox to arrive. I think i could stand to spend $30 on the belts, and i'm sure some of the Michigan guys here would haul me out to the track quite often.

How much work are we thinking for a DIY install?

just send it over here man
i go to the track alot, i've been a member for over a year.
plus if this is just as good as the ur pulley i'll be at 14.0 or 13.9 in sub 60 deg weather.

so who doesnt want to see an automatic bolt on go into the 13's?

are new belts also required w/ the ur pulley's??

i hope if i get these they dont fuck up my car.

Humm, What does my Sig say? I guess I do have and Icebox.

The other point is that there are several of us going to the track and most have dynos within the past 5 months.

Let me know what you think, I might be in . . .

we need someone to do before and after dynos - at the same dyno location.
Theres too much variables/factors at the track

read my sig, i have obx headers so i have to have an auto.

14.2 w/ my setup is unheard of, thats why i want the pullies to go 13.9. just think, we have to give these to someone who will make a statement at the track, make those ls1's say damn u were on my ass and the stang gt's say, damn wtf u got in that thang??

honestly right now i see myself as the leading canidate, i'll admit it when someone else steps up for these and deserves them more than me.

Expect less than 10 WHP gain.

i was wondering how would you take out the pulley if you wanted to put a stock one back in? according to my friend, because of it's lightweight nature, you have to crack the pulley and actually break it to get it off.

I only know of one guy with a 6speed, but he is in Austin finishing up school.

There are some other CLS automatics out here, but they have various mods.

Good luck and keep us posted on the results. Speed Freeks always want the news on more and more HP.
