free brakes coming too!!!!!!! wayne g please read

just called my dealer to make appt for the free paint job on hood. asked about my brakes shuddering. she(the service manager)said that they had brakes and rotors on back order. they will replace those for free too. said that something is wrong with rotors and acura "is" sending new improved ones.
WAYNE, if you have any info or a bulletin on this, i am sure it would be greatly appreciated as this is a common complaint.

Since they're being so nice you might as well ask them to have Acura make us a front lip spoiler.

Thats news to me BSK. I know there is a bulletin for the pads on the TLs for shudder, but I have not seen one specific to the CL. I would guess that they are probably close to the same. Its possible there are hot spots in the rotor metal that can't be repaired by machining, so they are going to replace them. It is a great repair and it looks as if your dealer is doing the right thing. Enjoy

What dealer do you go to? I have this same problem. I wonder what Park Ave's policy on the brake shaking is..? If they're replaced I'll mention it when I go to do the 15k service.

We need to know ASAP if there would be TSB # on this one for the CLS. I have experienced very minor steering wheel vibrations when braking, I was all the time confusing this with the ABS feeling but it is summer and I am riding on UHP summer tires.

So, If there would be a recall (TSB) on CLS rotors/brakes pads. It's very worthy geting this corrected ASAP.

I made an appointment to have my brakes looked at (I am getting really bad shaking in the wheel when stopping from a high speed (like 55).

Any more word on this potential service bulletin for the brakes and rotors?

I called to make an appointment for July 5th today at my Acura dealer and explained my rotors are warped at 7k miles. The guy said he hasn't heard of any CL-S's with warped rotor problems. I guess he should read this forum. I asked if it was covered under warranty to hear it right from them and he told me they would have to determine if it's the cars fault of mine. I said fine, since I have no mods on my car and it has never been to a racetrack. They better not give me shit about getting the fixed under warranty.

My car shakes when I'm stopping from 70-80 MPH, it's not terrible, but it's noticeable.

Has anyone else noticed their brake pedal move when they are completely stopped at a light or stop sign?? I've noticed this 3 times now, all at separate times. I'll be sitting stopped at a light and the brake pedal will all the sudden push in another inch or 2. Makes me kind of worried, has anyone else noticed this? I can't reproduce it, but all 3 times I've had the A/C on.
