Found something new with my CLS???????

So I was at the gas station filling up and I reset my 'Trip A" meter. My "Maint. Req" light came on last week and I could not remember how to reset it. I held both the trip reset and the other button for like 45 seconds at the same time. Then where the temp is ussually displayed it beeps and starts counting -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3. And it countinues to count until you take your finger off the buttons. I have no idea what it is for. I'm hoping its a tune or something! I know, not likely. Anyways does anyone know what its for? I have not played with the differant numbers yet to see what they do.

I did it with the engine running, and with it off with the key in the on position.

Any Ideas?

No, the car was supposed to come with it and the remote, and 3 keys. I only got the one key. Said they gave it all to the shipping company. So somewhere between FL and CO it got lost.

that sucks, especially for the keys, seems they always get "lost."

Why? Is there an ejector seat in the CL, or maybe a self destruct?
