the guy has '03 rims on his '01. i think the car had some crucial damage to the side and major damage to the rims.
nothing else is modded except the rims.... more damage had to have occured than just the rear...:sqnteek:

In addition to the above comments, it’s HARD if not IMPOSSIBLE to get any kind of reputable insurance on car like that.
You can get liability, but it’s hard to set the value for a comprehensive and/or collision policy.
Buyer beware……

13k is pretty damn cheap for an 01 w/ 29k...
blue book on that car if it had never been wrecked:
Private Party Value $22,095
Private Party value represents what you might expect to pay for a used car when purchasing from a private party. It may also represent the value you might expect to receive when selling your own used car to another private party.

Its a silly risk to take.
Its a pain for insurance as stated
You can NEVER trade it in. you could only sell it privately. dealers will not touch a salvage title with a 10 foot pole, and if you lie and say it doesnt you can and will get sued.
Its an expensive risk to take.
dont do it

I had an Accord that got hit twice but ran fine.
I would advise you check Carfax to see if it has anything registered in damage (Accord above showed a clean title even with 2 accidents repaired by a Honda dealer). If you buy the car, send no money. Drive the car, have it thoroughtly checked out, then pay the money....

Got a local dealer pushing one for $17K with a clean title (came down from $20K). Miles unknown, but it's the lowest price I've seen.

That car at auction(the real testament of it's worth) is $14>$17K(CLEAN).
Private person to person sale...you can find them for $18>$20K...so after you spend $3>$4K fixing up your dumpy Cl that has a salvage title, you coulda-shoulda-woulda had a better ride for a few grand more. I review bank auctions on a regular basis...that's what I do in the real world...and I'm always running the CL's because I own 2.

22,095 sounds like a bad deal for an 01... I'm just doing the math by converting to and from CAD and that makes it within shooting range of a brand new CL Type S. I say within range, because if leased, rates on a new car are MUCH better.
I was looking at a 98-99 2.3 5spd for about 12-13 K CAD, which is pretty reasonable, if on the low end. The average is like 14.5, so I'm pretty sure I can do 12. That's obviously for one that hasn't been done up, and is pretty much off-lease.

Don't ever buy a salvaged veh. the fact that you know it was in an accident already means it was a total loss and someone put in the time and money to repair it. I know In NJ, insuring it wouldn't be a problem as long as you can demonstrate the veh was repaired properly and the agent does a photo inspection before they allow it to be insured for comp and collision.

Don't listen to these guy's. Their just hating. Buy the car and gut everything but the drivers seatand sell it off. You will make a ton of money back. Shit, the airbags alone are probably worth 2k. The build a sick motor with the cash for and voila', the FIRST CL-S dragster.
