Found - '03 CL-S
For several weeks I have been looking for a mint condition '03 CL-S 6 sp. Found a couple that had been beaten on by their previous owners, or at the very least, the wheels were eaten up.
last week took ownership of a '03, with only 4k miles (it was the dealerships owner's demo car).
Good to be part of the group.
And to just confirm....no dealers had any line of the new TL getting a 2 door cousin....

details
perhaps what I like most - it just wants to run....feels like there is gobs of power, not a mind blowing jolt, rather just a strong confidence that surges....yeah, I like that.
Got the Navi - not much of a need now - lookin to the next road trip though!
Color - white - that was the only draw back - looked into painting it from the dealer - Acura removes all body panels (not like the $299.99 macco job), and takes around 6k - ended up liking white just fine.....actually prefer the beige interior.
Bought it at Connolly Acura in Natick, MA (Boston area)
The clutch is an interesting beast - it is either in and planted to the floor or you're gonna pop the clutch - 1st to 2nd is short, to have a smooth acceleration/non race, it's a slow start to keep it smooth....as I figure it out, I'm sure it'll diminish.
Best fun yet...80mph on 128s dropping to third....yeah...liked that alot....perhaps the quickest 35mph I've felt, hitting the wide S curves.....nice, just nice.....
the only downer is the stock sound system - it got nuthin'

next step
the only areas right now I see to change/upgrade - wheels - they are stock - but they are different from the other Cls I've seen (they do not jut out as far) rather boring though.
Must do something about the sound system - it really is lacking.
I was able to get this w/o the rear spoiler - that was a "must not have"

Sounds like you love the car already ... and its stock ..
wait til you find out about comptech. Springs, sways, konis, rims and tires and your going to love those S curves even more.
Intake, headers, maybe even supercharger and your going to drool at that acceleration
Congrats on the car, lots of luck with it.
