Fog Light Bulbs for aftermarket Foglights

Fog Light Bulbs for aftermarket Foglights
I need some help, I currently have the Hella foglights on my car, they have the yellow piaa bulbs in them. Once of the bulbs burned out, so I would like to change them out to something that would match the factory HID color. The bulbs are 55 watt H3 bulbs, any suggestions, I would like to stay with PIAA bulbs, they seem to be good and last.
Thanks

I wish i could say i had the same luck with H3 bulbs, personally, in two previous cars, the only H3 bulbs that lasted were the crappy stock sylvanias. Silverstars only lasted like a month or two and PIAA (super whites) would burn out in 6 months max. I even tried the 100W Sylvanias, but they didn't last all that long either. I think you may be better off sticking with the yellow or just your basic 55w H3.

The super whites were VERY close to HID, but they were both on non HID cars, so it's hard to say. I know that they definitely looked better and clearer when i had my PIAA 510 (i think) driving lights.

Depends on what look you are going for too. If you like the all white look, the PIAA bulbs that end in like 134 or 934 are very white, and they are also 18 watts I believe as opposed to the 6w ones in stock form. That may be the closest you get to bonafide fog lights and not "road lamps"
Of course, if you have a custom fog setup you might be able to find 55w bulbs?
