fog/driving lights

I have a 2003 cl-s that did not come with driving/fog lights. I see many of the cars in this forum have them. Are lights available for installation? If so, where can I get them?

They are driving lights which were standard on the 01-02 CL but in all honesty, they suck. They are very low power and don't serve much more than a cosmetic mod.

Yep just for looks mostly. It's BS that they made the 03's without them. It's like come on, all of the TL-S had actualy foglights. You can get them through Acura, or order them online like I did. I bought mine from www.acuracarland.com. I paid about $100 for parts, and shipping. I have yet to get mine in. I also bought a factory TL foglights switch. I have everything except the wiring.

They don't suck with the right bulbs.

If you have time and money get a custom fabricated set (Only if you care about having "fog" lights).

Otherwise get a set of driving lamps from the acura part links advertised on this site and switch the bulbs to PIAA 19173 (Yellow ION 5W) or 19224 (Hyper White but higher Wattage and may cause some marking on the driving light housing).

they don't suck, they just don't serve a purpose. I have the PIAA Yellow Ion lights and I love the look.

In my opinion, that means they suck. Why put driving lights on a car that don't help with "driving" This isn't some 16 yr olds Civic.

Agreed. However, IMPO, I think most cars "look" better with fog lights. With the right bulbs, that's exactly what they "look" like. If you had the right bulbs in, and you didn't know any better, you wouldn't even notice the difference if you saw the car sitting at a traffic light or something.

I don't like the '03 without the lamps there. It adds something different to the car. I think it looks better on the '01-02 because of the Silver grill outline as well during the day.

They look really good on an '03 if the lenses are slightly tinted.

It would be nice if they were functional. But from a cosmetic stand point, I like the way they look.

Search is your friend. Look in the FAQ sections... there's a post with a complete parts list and installation instructions...
