I'm taking mine into Pasadena Acura next thursday and i want to know how long the dealer would need to keep my car...also any feedback from anyone whos gotten rattles and squeaks fixed at pasadena before? thanks

i need to know the deal with this situation too!! I am going in next Wdnesday and i am scared they'll tell me, "Sorry, we were unable to reproduce the sound!" or "there is nothing we can do about that" And give me some dumb excuse on why that is normal.

me, too, sounds like a creak from the back window, started when it got real cold. I'm gonna take it to the dealer and drive with the service manager in the car before I leave it there.

My dealer removed my rear window and replaced the entire gasket (it was defective from the factory) to fix a rattle that I had at the rear window area. I could not find the source of the rattle on my own, so when I took it to the dealer I had the tech ride in the backseat while a took him on a drive to replicate the noise. You must make sure that the dealer hears the noise before you leave them the car! Don't tolerate the "we couldn't duplicate the rattle" B.S. Take them for a ride. My dealer was real good about fixing my rattle....now I am 100% rattle free!

I,ve got the same rattle/sqeak...worse when it's cold (in fact, I never heard it until it started getting below 30 degrees here. Any idea what it might be? Sounds to me that it comes from where the rear seat drivers side touches the panel?

a lot of rattle sounds may actually be squeaks. the rubber molding on the door right behind the drivers window squeaks, but sounds like a rattle from the rear. and it usually happens when it gets colder and the moldings get dry.

some silicone lube would fix it if it's htat.

Thanks bro. I think the key is to give the service people a fair chance. I've seen some of the threads you were on and some people get hot around the collar w/ service people
