First Time for Everything
First Time for Everything
Hey guys,
this is my first post here, however, i have been a regular visitor for about 6 months. it's been interesting reading all of your various viewpoints on issues, and i have learned many new things about our cars, which is very useful, so thank u for that...i wanted to tell u guys what i currently use for my baby to keep it in tip-top shape. first off, the wax...Meguiar's Gold Class Paste. simply the best i have ever used. and it does what it says, like deepen the color. my red baby looks better and better every time i wax it (i personally prefer darker, deeper luster). next, the interior...Zymol Protectant...also awesome, although i spent an arm and a leg for the bottle ($25). it treats leather, vinyl, rubber, and some plastics. in fact, one day i got crazy and tried it out on my fenderwell trim and the plastic/rubber surrounding the moonroof visor, the plastic around the side mirrors, and the plastic trim around the doors. it literally makes the black trim blacker, thus the contrast on my car between the red and black with the black interior and the black wheels is incredible. finally, the wheel care. Meguiar's Endurance/Endurance High Gloss...makes my tires look great. only drawback is DON'T TOUCH THE WHEEL, otherwise u'll have black gook on your fingers. i'm open to hearing what u guys use, and if u think u got better stuff, feel free to lemme know...i'd love to experiment. BTW, the Zymol Protectant is great at getting out any wax that gets on plastic/rubber trim. peace.
