Got a door ding - about the size of a nickel on the passenger side door this morning. Any recommendations? body shop, cost, electric shocks to idiots who ding my doors in the future?

Try the Dent Wizard. They're excellent at removing dings and small dents. I'm pretty sure they are nation wide by now, so you should be able to find a location near you.

Don't let just anyone pull that ding out, use dent wizard or one of the other national / tri state area guys. Do what I did, go to the dealer and find out who they use.

I would like to add to this..........
I've a black Type-S with 3 deep dents - all on the driver's side.
Seems to me no matter how careful or how far away I park from the rest of the world, there will always be one SOB who has no idea how to open a car door.

And this morning I found out a cat jumped off the roof and decided to use my hood as a landing spot. Let me tell you, this is one extraordinary cat, it had party on my hood.

I've just came back from the store with a bottle of polishing wax and clear coat .......... I hate cats and dumb fucks who can't open doors properly!

I'm jealous - those of you with dentless cars/perfect paint jobs, maybe we can do a official survy on dents to make some of us feel better??

 

i feel you guys...i park as far away as i can and it never ceases to amaze me how people do not know how to open their doors correctly without bangin into my door....fucking idiots!...i even had a lady hit my car door w/her door while i was in the car....i got out to see if she made a dent or not and she gave me a very dirty look and took off...IDIOTS! i tell you

 

I had a bad quarter sized ding on a door, I went to "Dentbusters", they gave me a quote of $85, then I went to this other place "dentstar" and they charged me $75 after I accidently left the other printed quote in the car.
