Man that thing needs some lowering springs. It's not like anyone who buys it is going off road anyways!

i'm sure technically this car is incredible. Aesthetically it is just not there. It looks like they took a porsche and added a sloped chin and a 4 inch raise.

And the dash...I have a feeling they're going to run into some usability issues w/ all those buttons. It just seems they could've been laid out more intuitively rather than trying to stay with the mono-chromatic look.

Beltfed: agreed, looks better, but not as fast and not as prestigious.

True.....but the the standard Cayenne is not that special performance wise (its good though). The only one that stands out is the Turbo and its like $90k, like I would ever spend that on an SUV.

Anyway, in 03 the Touareg is going to have a 220hp V6 and a 313hp 4.2 V8 available. In 04 the 420-450hp W12 and 310hp V10 TDI will be available. Obviously Porsche will have the upper hand performance wise (along with Cachet), but I think its ugly.

Doesn't it have active adjusting suspension. I thought it was an adjustable ride height. Similar to the Range Rover.

Yup, both Cayenne models should have a version of the adjustable Air suspension. The Touareg V6 has the standard setup, while the V8/V10/V12 models will have the Air suspension.

ok.....
1) i may be alone on this but i think that porsche is hott.

2) the gap looks HUGE on it b/c the tires are really low profile, i doubt the tires will end up that small on the production version considering it looks hella awkward.
