First new car..need help on starting mods

hey guys wow this is a cool forum you guys have here. I've had my Aegean Blue Cl Type S now for about..a month i think and I would like to start some mods on it. First thing though, I wanna clear my lights, but Im kinda scared to do it myself so I went to this place to get it done and they said they seal it with some sort of heat resistent hot glue...is this ok? i mean...all the people i've talked to said they seal with silicon...so is hot glue bad? or is it better? i hope u guys can help me out thanx!

i think the problem with hot glue is it's not as maleable when it's settled like silicone. just tell them to use silicone instead.

if they don't have any, go to Walmart and buy a tube of it for a couple bucks and have them use it.

I like the idea of getting chrome graphics paper and getting a professional to put it over the deflector...I saw it on Raja's TL, and im gonna get it done soon because you really cant tell from far away and close up it still looks good...Your lights couldnt possibly be the same after you clear them out, something is bound to go wrong, and I wouldnt trust some asshole to do it either ...Shyne

yes, you would need to purchase a camber kit for the pro-kit, or any other springs for that matter (except comptech)..you'll also need to get an alignment done about 2-3 weeks after installing the springs..

good choice if you get the springs first, i for one can't stand that hideous gap i also recommend some high performance tires, such as toyo proxes t1-s.you should get comptech sway bars while you're at it, and some koni yellows..after suspension mods, i'd definitely go with the aem cold air intake..all these mods should satisfy you for a month or so hope this helps

Quality-wise, you can't go wrong with either the Comptechs or Eibachs. As far as having too low of a drop, I can only speak for the Comptechs first-hand and can tell you they give me no problems whatsoever. I don't even have to slow down for speed bumps. This is something I looked into a lot before getting my springs. People with the Pro-Kit report the same, no real problems with everyday driving. I heard they may be too low for some turns on inclines.

Whatever coilovers are available for the V6 Accord coupe are the ones you can use for the CL, so yes. Try www.autocarparts.com
