First kill in the Sub!
So I was out driving my 55 suburban yesterday making sure everything was fine before I take off this weekend for a big car show. The car has a fully worked 406 ci SBC and it's a pretty strong motor but it's more of a reliable motor. Well the car probably weighs close to 4300lbs so it's not a speed demon. This civic SI pulls up to me at a light yesterday and starts revving, i'm thinking :wtf: are you trying to do man, this things a tank, it's a cruiser. Well i've never really got on her from a stop so I did a little brake torque the light turns green and we are off. I FUCKING BROKE MY 305's LOOSE!!!!!! I couldn't believe it and I had him by about a car at 60 when I shut down

when he started revving I looked over at him w/ a HUGE wtf face
mike, i'll be back in Del Mar this weekend, only saturday if I don't win an award though, but i'm switching classes and am gonna be in the overall group and I should still be returning on Sunday

That's awesome!! I had a similar deal.....I took the womans Navigator to have the oil changed and there's a light that has a 2 lanes into 1 merge and there's a punk in a ZX2 next to me and I could hear his bass thumpin some crap. Anyway I dont think he expected me to go like I did but I launched that bus hard, it's not too shabby with 300hp and being as large as it is. It was enough that he couldn't catch back up and had to fade in behind me. HAHA!! Funny shit.

yea, my parents have the same navigator it's a beast, I bet it's a mid 15 second car, hopefully we'll get a blower for it soon
