We were gonna do it for $$$, but he told be is car was stock and when i heard his car it didnt sound stock at all. I've driven a 330 before and it sounded nothin like his. I looked under his hood and alls i saw was a sway bar but it was night time so i dunno what else he had.

We taped the 2 races but he still hasnt sent em to me, i'll post em when he sends em out.

First Run:
He leaves first , i spin through most of first gear. Right off the bat he gets like a 1.5 car jump pn me and i was reeling him in but ran out of road, so he ended up winning by half a car

He leaves first again I hook up pretty decent and and put like 1.5-2 cars on him my 75mph

Wow, i underestimated the bimmer ALOT. This guy was a perfect driver, he knew how to launch that thing. I dunno what he had done to it, it could of been stock but me and my brother both thought he had some type of shit in it. But o well. The place we race at has too much gravel n shit so we gonna find some other place to settle the score.

since the bmw is rwd this puts the pressure on you for a great launch as you found out in Race 1.

there not much you can hide
intake,headers yo should have been able to see.

a rwd car will 9/10 times will launch better than you, making it a come from behind victory

 

I totally agree if you get a good launch and stay within a half car you won't have a problem, finish this guy off and then find out what his mods are, it will make you feel even better after the fact with the money in your hands to know what kind of modded bmw 330 you beat, just make sure he doesn't do anything to it before the next time you race him!!

I haven't checked out too many BMW engine bays but how could you see he had an upraded sway bar at night? It'd be easier to see if you were under the car. Unless you're talking about a strut tower brace.

Good kill/death. With the 330ci being RWD your launch is critical. Those headers should be helping you make up for the launch though.

 

I agree its all in the launch, but disagree on the 9/10 times deal. It is really more dependant on the driver than anything. Most times at the track, my 60 ft is at least .05-.10 better than the cars I race. I get to mostly race Mustangs and Camaros. My track is very slippery(LACR) and a 2.1 60 ft on street tires is pretty good, 2.0s are very rare. Most of the Pony Cars only manage 2.1-2.3 60 fts on street tires.

Congrats on the Kill, and too bad on the death. Why don't you just race him at the track instead, no gravel or crap, and its much safer.

I think that sway bar you saw on the BMW is stock... I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure it's a stock bar...

 

9 out of ten? maybe 50/50, but def not 9 outta 10 times. and the headers could definitely be hidden! most cars you can't even see the exh mani/headers, especially if it is night time. anyways nice work on the modded 330, practice your launch and show'em your beautiful ass end of the acura!

seriously though, I've beat two 330CIs now that were stock. I'm basically stock (haven't put my new tires on yet) with just springs. you should have beat him all day long with your i/h but they're definetely no pushover.
