I just caught it this morning. Kind of a Jazzy theme with a Silver CLS driving through what looks like desert canyons. Shows a couple on their way to a concert. Pretty good clear shots of the car in this commercial. By line "Enjoy the performance before it starts". . . Pretty good.

I don't know about your state but in NY thats the only CL commercial that is on TV. I am kind of curious what did they use where you live.

 

Yah, that commercial has been playing here for a while, but there was a new one that I just say and it had some guy diving toward the florida keyss on a bridge, that commercial was a little bit better than the previous ones.

the one in the Florida keys was an original... it's been playing for over a year here in AZ. I haven't seen the concert one yet?? I don't know if they just play different commercials in different areas or if I just don't watch that much tv??

 

No... theyve been playing the Florida keys one here for over a year also.

Ive yet to see this new desert canyon one.

The desert one is when they're driving through Sedona, Arizona right? I saw that one about 2 months after the original one came out (Florida Keys). Iridium is right though, Nissan's commercials are great. The new Maxima one with the sunset is great.....

They might as well put a couple of 80 year olds in the car and have them fall out of the car, for a round of golf.

The Maxima commercials are great. Let see some slides on the salt flats.

Hey, just take the TL-S commercials and do some overdubbing and matte work to morph it into a CL-S commercial (it would be better than that original one going to the swimming pool). Argh

Trust me this is a new one. I've had my CL since March 2000 and know what the CL commercials look like. This one has a silver CL-S. . . Not a CL-P a Silver CL-S. . .

Can you describe the one you are referring to that has been around since January? Now I'm curious if they are playing different commercials in different regions. Even though it wouldn't make sense for them to do this. . .

As far as I'm concerned, let the commercials suck. The less people that buy these the better. I don't want it to turn into the accord, i.e. 4 on every corner.

It's the same one you described. They are driving in Arizona. Something about the Sedona Jazz Fest or something. They show shots of the jazz band and shots of the car driving through the canyons. The song has a women doing a "Mel Torme" type thing instead of singing actual words.

i have not seen the new commercial. acura has had 8 commercials over the past year or so.
