finally got one

got an 01 silver type s with nav. now the list of problems...
only thing i noticed was that the address part of the nav keeps frezzing, but only in CA. any solutions? i'll take it back to the dealer anyway cause they need to fix a scratch, and clean the inside of the car. i didn't want to wait for it to get detailed, besides, it's raining hard today. now time to change the sig.

Attach your interior with some kind of leather treatment ! Mine was so dull, when I got it. And do it yourself ! Dealerships are C- when they clean any part of your car. My dealership is not to touch (clean) my car.

Welcome !

Congrats on your car. Mine just turned 3 weeks....

What I notice with the NAV, is to enter the city, then work from there. When I try to enter the street, then street number, half the times it does not find it.

Congrats on the rig. You'll definately enjoy every second of driving!!! I do. I just put my second oil change this morning. Synthetic with 4300 miles on it. Don't let the dealer do to much detailing to your car. I don't even let them wash it when I take it in for service. Don't want some high school punk touching 'er!!! Good luck and enjoy!!!!

Take it to AJ's detailing if you live in the San Jose area.

I had similar problems, because my Nav DVD was scratched all to hell. Once it was replaced the nav was actually able to search addresses without seizing up.

I'm looking to get the exact same car (silver type-s w/nav) in the South Bay. Could you tell me where you bought it and what it cost?

Buy from Mike Harvey they have a ton of CLs on the lot still...and they always negotiate...not to mention this hot saleslady...
