How do you like those Toyo Proxies? I saw those on a 740iL this weekend. They have a mean looking tread! Do they stick well? I am thinking that if I don't sell my m3 in a few weeks then its time to 'turbo' charge that mofo and keep it! I need new tires and after seeing those proxies, I want those! What do you think of em?

M3Sins,

I've had Toyo Proxes T1S, 225/45 x17 ZRs, on my CLS for about7 weeks. They stick like glue, give good road feel, and don't hurt the ride. At first, no noise at all, but now I occasionally here a hum - maybe 25% of the time. It's not loud, and our stock tires were whisper quiet, but it's there. I kind of like it actually. Reminds me I did something good for my car. And when they slide in a corner, the breakaway and drift seem quite predictable.

The mini is nice. I think its more of a chick car. Kinda like the VW Beetle. Too bad BMW is sinking to such a low level where as a spoiled teenager working at the local McDonalds would be able to afford a BMW. I think its going to tarnish the BMW name by making it more accessible to the lower middle class individuals.

As for those Proxies. I think if I keep the car I'll definitly go with those! Love the tread design!

uhh...don't remind me. I can't even begin to think of the BMW meets filled with these little minis just because they are BMWs. I hope the car clubs have a "BMW No Mini Meets"

Think of it this way...better minis than 318s of any variety...
On another note, I noticed that the mustang trolls have migrated to your board already!!
