FINALLY!!!! '03 Accord Coupe EX V6

She finally decided...

After going from the WRX (not plush enough) to the 350Z (too small and enclosed), we added the '03 Accord Coupe EX V6 to the fleet. $24,200-OTD -w- 2.9%!!! Should be picking it up this week. Another Honda to mod the sh!t out of.

So we figure that since we saved $10g on the car (over the 350Z/G35c thought) we'll spend $5g on mods right from the start. What would you spend it on???

This should be fun....

WELCOME to the darkside!

may I reccomend the following upon collection of your baby:

1. coats of zaino!
2. a strict diet of premium fuel!
3. your choice of injen intake, or aem V2 intake.(good for 15hp/10ft/lbs+)

Thanks guys...

Zaino is definite (many coats on the CLS now)
CAI is as good as ordered, along -w- springs, sways (are there any yet), 18" wheels, and real tires.

What springs fit this car??? Any pics???

Where'd you get 2.9%, from American Honda?

Congrats. I saw your post on av6.com too. They got a nice little 7th gen section for you.

There's a few springs companies coming out but I'm not sure about availability. I hear Eibach should have an application soon as should Ground Control for coilovers.

Yeah. American Honda has 2.9% until Feb 28th (includes Acura too).

Gratz on the ride! What color/options did you get? Also, I highly suggest this:

Got the SanMarino Red / Tan interior. EX comes with pretty much everything, and she didn't want the navi or spoiler. We will go aftermarket for the spoiler/body kit. Figured that since we have the navi in the CLS6, it would be redundant (as cool as the '03 navi is). The other thing is that the navi model would've cost me more than $2k because they wouldn't discount as much (they wanted close to sticker for the navi model -vs- $24,200-OTD for this one). That's OK though, more money for mods...

I do like the 3m clearbra.. Thanks for the link!

Good luck on the Accord and please let us know how you like it as time goes on. One mod you can't get...I guess...is headers since the engine has no exhaust manifold. You might want to check out the Icebox if CompTech makes one for your car yet. I'm not quite sure on the slam and wheels because I prefer the better ride.

I agree on the wheels and tires. It made a huge difference on mine both performance and looks wise. The clear bra is another good call, if i had the car brand new, it's the first thing i'd do !!
