which is faster

2003 CL-S 6 speed,C/T headers,Icebox CAI,exhast
(no supercharger)
vs
new (whenever it comes over on the boat) WRX Sti
stock

I'm not knocking on the CL but I don't think it would win(but i could be wrong). this kid said because the CL a 6 cylinder it would win.
I said there's no way the new Sti running a 14 out of the factory

The new STi is 13.5s man, like a Corvette, or LS1 Camaro!

the car itself is amazing 300 HP with 300 lbs of torque with a adjustable limited slip differential, it comes with Brembos out the factory. it's about 150 lbs lighter than a regular WRX.
for a car that can almost hang with a M3 it's a steal at 30,000. grant it you don't have the class of a M3 but as far as numbers it's dang close

Not only that, but the ease of producing extra HP/TQ (due to the turbo and rally heritage) is not that expensive relative to other cars. Add in the Praxis possibilities and you've got a serious machine for the twisties and the strip!

the STI is gonna be nasty! the fully equipped CLS6 will still lose in a straight line race but I think it would be respectable. Plus someone already mentioned the modability of the STI!

That STi will strike fear into the hearts of many American drivers, I was looking at a new S4, but if that STi comes in and no dealers are charging extra for it, I would think about doing that and maybe adding the navi I want aftermarket.

I think I'll easily take a stock STI... and if he ups the boost.. maybe I have to as well I am really considering keeping the turbo kit and trying for 400whp.. very possible, I think with a few more mods.
