Extended warranty.

Never trust 3rd party warranties! Like everyone has said, once they have your money they will do anything possible to not have to pay it out. The only warranties I remotely trust are from the car companies themselves. Acura offered me a 2 year 24k miles bumper-to-bumper on mine, but I only had 60k so things might be different.
IF IT SOUNDS TO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT PROBABLY IS
I've seen the commercials, touting they will save you from a 4k repair bill for a transmission and cover your car up to 200k miles or something like that. There is no way they could operate a business like that, not possible.

Yeah I had an extended warranty for my 00 Nissan Maxima and paid like 1K for a 24 month coverage. It only covered the basics like engine, tranny, AC stuff, etc. I actually had to use it. My tranny went and the company said they only would cover up to 1500 dollars, so I was stuck with paying the rest. I had to get a new tranny at Amcco and they said it was like pulling teeth to get them to approve the job. Drivers Edge (the insurance company) was supposed to send out an adjuster to see if the tranny was covered, but they just took Amcco's word and approved it.
U gotta look at the fine print. It seems like everything is covered but its not. They can be tricky wit the words they use.
I purchased one thru the Acura dealership when I first got my car and so far, its a legit warranty. I payed like 2k for it and it covers the car for 2 years. All I do is pay a 100 dollar deductible.

It was, it was just they said I didn't mail the letter back within the 45 day period! That was the rule stopmyrepairbills set. But if I would have recieved my whole packet/info kit on time, I would have been able to mail a letter to cancel on time! That's the whole scam part, it took stopmyrepairbills almost a week and a half to get my info. And by that time almost twenty days had passed.

i thought you had already payed like $1,000, but $145 is not so bad, but yeah you should still be reimbursed, for when you first contacted them to cancell it
