Oh man, you cant be series. They are exactly what they sound like. The cat back goes from the cat and all the way back to the tips, the axle back goes from the axle to the tips. Cat systems tend to be a bit louder than axle back systems and more expensive.

That i do not know. I dont think so. I mean you hardly get any performance from mufflers to begin with so i dont know if its worth the extra few hundred bucks to get the cat back system. Its just neat to have a cat back if you have headers since now u have replaced all the pipes from the headers all the way back to the tips. Thats about it.

Unless you're going FI, an exhaust system does squat. or kneel. or bow. whatever....

Exhausts are pretty much for looks and sounds on our cars. Don't get me wrong... it was the second modification I did (and I love mine), but just realize the gains are minimal. Since that's the case, 98% of the people who buy exhausts buy an axle-back setup.

kritikadeo - ease up man. Not everyone knows everything and people need to ask to learn.... that's what this site is here for.

Are there exhaust systems or mufflers only that make our CLS's sound like G35 Coupes/FX35?? I really like the sound of those newer infinitis and I'm not really feeling the sound of Evo's. (It's too loud and it almost sounds like Civics with tanabes IMO, not that I'm being offensive to anybody with those exhausts)
Thanks.

EVO 2 is all stainless, instead of just the mufflers stainless and the piping steel.
