Everyone take a look before I make my Purchases!
I am about to make my purchase to help my cars handling. If you see anything wrong with this or want to suggest something different go ahead
1) H&R Sport Springs and Tokico HP Blues Shocks....(No coilovers or adjustable shocks needed for me)
2) Eibach Sways Front and Rear
Will I see a dramatic effect in handling between my car lowered without sways and my car lowered with sways? Because the sways and install will be about $400...is it worth it?
Lastly when these guys install it for me, should I tell them anything special to watch out for, or to do...like lube up the sways? The install price from japtrix which I hear do quality work down in Lake Worth, is $187.50 for the springs and shocks and between $75-$150 for sways depending on if it will take one or two hours.
Thanks!!!!!

I just made an appt to get comptech springs, same shocks as you, and comptech sways put in, my quote was $240.
Here is what everyone told me:
-do the sways yourself. everyone said its easy.
-springs/shocks install should be closer to $100 than $200
but, I am in AZ where everything is cheaper so maybe that price isn't so bad for the springs/shocks.

I just wanted to know if the price was reasonable...I hear the quality of this shop I am going to is excellent.
Are the sways worth it...I wont be doing it by myself, so they will cost around $400 when Im done...if the handling does improve a lot with the addition of the sways then I am all for it, if its not even noticeable then I wont get it.

I dont have all the tools for the sways thats why I am not doing it.
Also when I get my springs and shocks installed, should I wait a week and then get alignment so that my springs are settled then during the alignment will the guy no if my camber is off or does it have to be an Acura guy to know the specs of my car.

Does this seem like a decent price at the end...
Eibach Sway Bars-$300
Tokico Hp Shocks- $293
H&R Sport Springs- $190
installation $187.50+($75-$150)
Total estimate= $1109
Good price for sways/springs/shocks/installed?

Get the alignment done right after. You WILL mess your tires up. Unless you don't drive the car but a few miles.
Sways will make more of a difference in handling then just springs
Sways need to be lubed
Sounds like they are charging by the hour? At what $75/hour. That's not too bad, but the standard rate is $60-$65. If they do good work then that may justify the higher $$

Whats so good about laser alignment, I will ask for a printout of the alignment results to ask you guys about camber issues if they dont know at the alignment place.
Beetroot great deal on sways...did you find them used on here or on ebay?

you want to wait until the springs completely break in and set before an alignment. usually takes about 1-2 weeks after install

remember hitting a small pot hole can misalign your wheel. you want to get an alignment 1-2 week after install because you could possibly running some major camber issue!

from my experience
after comptech springs and tokico illumina install the car had a tight feeling. car looked much better after loosing the 4x4 look and the ride quality was not bad at all
few weeks later had comptech sways install
after the first bump on the road the car will feel like a giant stiff monster. you will definetely feel the stiffness imediately
the ride quality went really bad but the car could turn better!
but after you put on a few thousand miles you will forget how smooth the car was and get used to the new stiff ride

Good setup. Keep us updated.
Concerning alignment, you want to wait 50miles before alignment b/c:
1. You want everything to settle
2. Check all modifications
3. Check for any loose bolts
You will love the H&R springs, exactly what I have. The sways also do make a "world" of a difference. I prefer the Eibach over CT b/c they are thicker.
My setup btw: h&r/bilstein/eibach/neuspeed stb

Well is fuzzy right or who actually is right lol....also I may just get the springs and shocks installed first and see how I like the car then if I feel I need the sways buy a set of sways, if the ride quality is gonna go to hell with the sways. Plus itll save me some money. If I feel the car still does not handle better, I will add the sways on.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the springs settling. Definitely give it a little time if you're getting new springs. I'd avoid lots of miles unless you don't mind replacing the tires.
IMO, the sways are a great mod for our cars despite the stiffer ride, but YMMV.

Im figuring that I dont get any special install rate getting the sways done with everything so if I am happy without them then I save $400, if I desire them I will just go and get em put on.

Alright well I decided that I am going to do it! Now hears the question, I am getting it done at japtrix which is in lake worth about 25 minutes from me highway. If I dont get it aligned, will my tires be alright for about 25 miles then another 10 miles to get it aligned a week later? The tires dont have much tread on em anyhow. Tell me what you guys think.
