engine noise in speakers?

anyone have engine noise in their speaker?

The engine noise started when i put in my in dash and i don't know how to get rid of it. Its a whining noise that whines with the rpms.

Anybody know how to get rid of this?

I got the wiring harness for the radio from crutchfield. Its the one that bypasses the stock bose amp. I heard from the rsx forum that everyone who uses that wiring harness has this same problem, Saying that you have to actually disconnect the amp and just use a 98 and up honda harness.

Someone know how to disconnect the bose amp and where its located?

please help!

It's called alternator whine that is caused by bad grounding. Either check your wirings to make sure the ground is proper or use a ground loop isolator and hope it will go away. If not, at least you can say that you have a turbo in your car.

This is a common problem with aftermarket A/V systems but not always the easiest thing to fix.
You should find more help over in the Audio/Video section of the Forum.

Please repost your question over there.
Sorry, but we are unable to move threads there right now.
