Hey guys, it's very likely that there's a thread about this already that I totally failed to find with the search, but I want to clean my engine bay out tomorrow, and I was just wondering if you guys have any tips and anything I need to watch out for? I've already got the degreaser, but just wanted to find out if there was anything in there I should avoid getting the cleaner/water on.

I would probably cover the alternator and other electronics with a plastic bag before degreasing and rinsing.

 

I just cover up my air filter. Degrease the engine bay with the engine cold. I use gunk degreaser and cd2 engine detailer. Those work wonders for me
